Places To Eat:
Anchor Grill - 438 Pike St, Covington, KY 41011 - (859) 431-9498

The Comet - 4579 Hamilton Ave, Cincinnati, 45223 - (513) 541-8900- Just down the road from Shake It, this burrito joint/ bar has perhaps the best ever tofu jerk burrito, a black and white photobooth, and salsa of the month!

Myra's Dionysus, 121 Calhoun St, Cincinnati, OH 45219-3511. (513) 961-1578- Myra describes the cuisine as "somewhat Greek," but she picks up other influences from foreign travels. Eight fresh soups are served daily by the cup or bowl (check the blackboard). The tomato cilantro soup, served hot or cold, is thick and nicely seasoned. Vegetarians will face some tough choices, given the breadth of non-meat selections. Gado gado, a peanut-ginger sauce over brown rice served with tomatoes, cucumbers and a sprinkle of raisins and sunflower seeds, is representative of the interesting food here. It's spicy, combines warm and cold items, and you just feel healthy eating it. Classic Greek items include spanakopita (spinach and feta in phyllo pastry) and gyro pitas.

Things To Do:
The Southgate House- 24 E 3rd St. Newport, KY 41071, 859-431-2201. A larger show venue right across the river from Cincy, this place has a lot of good shows and a cool atmosphere.
