Arch Enemy- Doomsday Machine

Ugh, what's this I'm hearing? It sounds to me like the annoying sounds of a bratty little girl at the barbie aisle at Toys R Us wanting the latest model daddy can't afford. Arch enemy did make a change they couldn't afford by changing a good and trusty singer for a run of the mill whining metal groupie wanting to be in a band. Unfortunately for this band time has run out and they're nothing but the heavy Swedish version of Poison. You could be as melodic as you want to, but melody without feel leaves too much to be desired.

Rating: A kick in the head to see if they wake up and do the right thing in the studio next time around.
